As a doctor in internal medicine and a specialist in the treatment of people with problematic substance use, I work in a center for integrative addiction medicine. I am committed to destigmatization and low-threshold access to treatment for all people with problematic substance use. I live with my family on beautiful Lake Zurich.

The issue of alcohol consumption among women and the associated effects on psychological and physical well-being have been on my mind for a long time.
